So, today is father’s day here in America (I know it’s celebrated at different times of the year in different countries), but regardless of when it’s celebrated, the sentimental value it holds will remain the same everywhere. This is a shout out for the four (actually five, how can I forget my husband!) most important men in my life: My dad, my husband’s dad and my Grandfathers. I’m so blessed to have not only one, but four role models to look up to, to learn from, and most importantly, to be loved by! Thank you is too less of a word to acknowledge and appreciate what all my dads have done for me.
Celebrating father’s day today was such a fun, yet restful day. Relaxing, walking, laughing, how can father’s day get any better?
For any father, his daughter will always be the most beautiful woman in the world, and that’s why dressing up for my dad on father’s day is always the most enjoyable! I wore a plain chiffon maxi dress (maxi’s are my absolute favorite!) Initially I was always resistant in wearing maxi dresses, but once I started, I was hooked! They’re always so pretty and you can wear them casually or dress them up! You just need to learn to find the right style and fit for your body type and height, because I personally believe that a maxi can suit anyone and everyone. Sometimes you’re just not in the mood for wearing a statement necklace and radiating that boldness; you just want to stay simple and create that classy and graceful look. So with my orange maxi, I paired my personal favorite Dad Love you to the moon and back necklace. When my daddy saw it, he gave it a little kiss and said love you! Always remember, “Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance” – Coco Chanel.
Cheers to all the fathers out there!
